The Empowerment Foundation founded in 1998 is a private, charitable foundation and was established by Bhagwan P. Thacker, philanthropist, and owner of DSSI, LLC a global provider of procurement services. Based in Southfield, Michigan, DSSI also has offices in Mexico, Louisville, Kentucky, and Bratislava, Slovakia.
Mr. Thacker was born and raised in Anjar, India, where his family still resides and now lives in Michigan where he is the President and CEO of DSSI, LLC.
